Causes of Ear ache:
It usually occurs when the bacteria or virus that causes a sore throat or cold spreads to the Eustachian tube and then the middle ear.

Anything that causes swelling or a blockage of the Eustachian tube can trap the bacteria and cause an infection.

These include:

  • Colds and sinus infections
  • Allergies
  • Irritants e.g. cigarette smoke
  • Respiratory infections
  • The symptoms of an ear infection may include:
  • Throbbing pain
  • Mild deafness or the sensation that sound is muffled
  • Ear discharge
  • Fever
  • Headache
  • Loss of appetite
  • Noises in the ear, such as buzzing or humming
  • Vertigo (loss of balance)

Earclear Ear Ache Relief is Suitable for:

Directions:

Tilt the head so that the affected ear is uppermost. Fill the ear canal with the ear drops and plug the ear canal with cotton wool which has been previously moistened with the ear drops. Repeat every 1 to 2 hours until pain is relieved. See enclosed leaflet for further instructions. If condition persists, consult your doctor.
