Stratamark results

Stratamark is a novel medical product, specifically designed and clinically proven for the prevention and treatment of stretch marks (Striae Distensae). Stratamark dries to form a thin, flexible and protective gel sheet that is gas permeable and waterproof. It does not penetrate below the level of the top layer of the skin (stratum corneum).

Stratamark’s gel formulation requires substantially less product per application than typical moisturising creams or cosmetic products.

  • Forms a protective durable sheet
  • 100% medical grade silicone
  • Once a day application
  • Gel formulation
  • Dries quick
  • Clinically proven for the prevention and treatment of stretch marks
  • Reduces the itchiness associated with stretchmarks
  • Odourless

Common practice is to recommend oils or moisturisers to treat stretch marks, but don’t forget that a stretch mark is a scar

Oils and moisturisers only moisturise the skin it doesn’t treat the scar

  • Non-reactive: Suitable for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, children and people with sensitive skin as it does not contain alcohol, fragrances or parabens
  • Protection: Stratamark protects the skin from irritants and microbial invasion while reducing the risk for contact dermatitis.
  • Hydration: Semi-occlusive and gas permeable, which allows the skin to breathe and remain hydrated.
  • Film-forming, flexible, full-contact: Stratamark dries to form a thin and flexible film that ensures constant contact with the skin.
  • Modulation: Stratamark influences the epidermal-dermal signalling cascade via a regulation role of the epidermis on fibroblast production.
  • Easy to use: Stratamark is convenient and easy to apply.

After two months of monotherapy treatment on abdomen (post-delivery). Applied topically, once per day, or after each wash

Stratamark ResultsStratamark Stretch Mark Gel is suitable for:

  • Pregnancy
  • Adolescent growth spurts
  • Breast augmentation
  • Weight gain or bodybuilding

    Directions:

Stratamark is recommended for use from the beginning of the second trimester (13 weeks) or at the first sign of Striae. You can apply Stratamark to all areas of the body, including the buttocks, abdomen, thighs, breasts and back.

Once daily: Stratamark is easy to use – applied just once a day or after each wash.

24/7 For best results, Stratamark should be in continuous contact with the skin (24 hours a day/7 days a week).

When first using a 50g tube, remove the cap, then the protective seal and close with the cap after use.

During the filling process, some air is left inside the tube. Therefore, the tube is larger than the gel inside. Nevertheless, the tube is guaranteed to have at least the minimum quantity of gel stated on the tube.

    • Step 1- Prepare your skin: Ensure that your skin is clean and dry.
    • Step 2 - Apply Stratamark: Apply a very thin layer of Stratamark to the relevant areas with your fingertips and distribute evenly. Stratamark does not penetrate the skin.
    • Step 3 - Allow the gel to dry: When applied correctly, Stratamark should be dry in 5-6 minutes.
      • If it takes longer to dry, you have probably applied too much. Gently remove any excess gel with a tissue or paper towel and allow the drying process to continue. Remember: a little goes a long way.
    • Step 4 -  You are ready to go!: Once dry, Stratamark can be covered with clothes, sunscreen or cosmetics.

    Removing Stratamark

Remove from skin: Excess Stratamark on your hands can be easily removed by washing them with liquid soap and warm water. Repeat if necessary.

Remove from clothes: Stratamark may stain clothing if not completely dry. If staining occurs, dry cleaning should be able to remove it without damaging the fabric.

Stratamark 50g tube contains enough gel for approximately two months of treatment in the late stages of pregnancy.

In the beginning of a pregnancy or after delivery, one tube will last longer due to the smaller application area.
